State Wage Case decision 2026

On 17 June 2026 the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC) issued the 2026 State Wage Case decision granting a 4.75% increase to the State minimum wage, bringing the State minimum wage to $998.30 per week, from 1 July 2026. 

This pay rate increase only applies to employers and employees in the State industrial relations system and covers businesses which operate as sole traders and unincorporated partnerships.

ECA Legal will be issuing a new version of the WA State Award Wage Bulletin reflecting the rates that take effect from 1 July 2026.
