New Guidance Video – Residential Battery Installations (BESS)

Building and Energy has released a new guidance video for electrical licence holders relating to residential Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installations.

As battery installations continue to increase across WA, it is critical that electrical contractors and workers understand and comply with current regulatory requirements and installation standards. This video outlines key compliance considerations and provides practical guidance to support safe, lawful installation practices.
