Ensure compliance with Western Power's updated CCS and SACS training requirements

As part of recent updates to the Contractor Connect Scheme (CCS) and Service Apparatus Connection Scheme (SACS). Western Power now requires mandatory training for all participants in these schemes.
What's changed?
To maintain accreditation and continue participating in the scheme, the following training is now required:
• New entrants must complete the full 5-day course if pit access is required.
• Existing participants who previously completed the 1-day SACS course must now complete a 3-day pit training component.
• An annual SACS refresher course is now mandatory for all participants.
What do I need to do next?
To help meet the new training requirements, the College of Electrical Training (CET) is now delivering a range of courses for Western Power–accredited electrical contractors and authorised electrical workers seeking approval to connect consumers to the network.
For more information, view the course page here or contact CET.
