We want you!!!

NECA Young Leaders program is designed to inspire, motivate and build a network of Young Leaders for the future. NECA Members and Sponsors are encouraged to put forward their best employees to join the group!

Selection Criteria. 

We are looking for Young Leaders that are 

- aged between 24 - 34

- dreaming about owning their own business one day

- energetic and enthusiastic about networking and relationships

- nominated by their managers/employers/supervisors

Know your numbers - Did you know most businesses fail within 5 years? 

Our Young Leaders wanted a qualified accountant to get them on the right track. This was great for those that were in business for themselves as well as those working for large contractors.

Wellness - Do you know what to do if your mate heads towards depression/suicide?
Our Young Leaders value friendship, that’s why they wanted to make sure they knew what to do if their mates went down this path. This thought provoking workshop included a professional and a contractor who openly talked about their their experiences. 

Energy Management - It’s all the rage right now and with good reasons! Our Young Leaders wanted a fire side chat with regulators, solar champions and standard experts because in this industry it’s not just about what you know, it’s about who you know.  

Plus, we toured the BLSC and the All Energy exhibition as a group, and of course had a few cheeky beverages here and there.

Trip to Uganda - We are looking for 6 Young electricians to go to Uganda to install a solar panel. Learn more about this opportunity here.
