Technical Knowledge Base (TKB)

TKB is our online searchable Technical Knowledge Base, a product designed by ECA WA specifically for the electrical industry.

With TKB, members can easily search the Wiring Rules, a variety of Standards, network operator requirements, technical bulletins and more, 24/7 via their tablet or smartphone.

In the past 12 months, 40,000 articles were viewed on TKB and members carried out 9,500 searches. It’s easy to see why more than 90% of members use this unique and valuable technical service.

Technical Hotline

ECA WA's highly experienced technical team are available to take member calls via the Technical Hotline between 7am and 5pm AWST, Monday to Friday. For queries outside of the Hotline open hours, our Technical Knowledge Base (TKB) is available 24/7!

The Technical Hotline is a free* service for eligible members, providing an easy way for electrical contracting businesses to access prompt and reliable technical assistance when required.

ECA WA is a separate entity from the WA Branch of the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA WA) and operates under a Service Level Agreement to provide technical and safety services to WA members. All members of NECA WA automatically receive ECA WA membership at time of joining.
